ARE YOU ATTRACTING YOUR IDEAL BODY AND HEALTH OR REPELLING THE SLENDER, FIT YOU?

It’s been proven again and again. When we’re open to asking our selves hard questions, so we get ruthlessly honest answers… it’s then that we overcome obstacles and can achieve the great things we dream about creating. I’ve been a member now of three Mastermind Groups. I have decided I will always be a member of one. They are spectacular! They push you to be more than you are, educate you with knowledge you might not gain on your own and help you to ask yourself tough questions. If you’re one who gets offended easily or takes things personally, you wouldn’t like it. If you’re one that can hear people make observations and take to heart that there’s always a way to improve when you consider the truth in what’s being said, there is nothing like a Mastermind Group. As you might imagine, in the one I went to last week I realized the truth that I’ve written in the title of this article.

It was my turn to present to the group. We’d had a considerable amount of success in growing our company since the last meeting, so I was certainly going to share that. This particular group’s expertise level is in Internet marketing. Mine is not, it’s in bricks and mortar Thin&Healthy Total Solution Centers and inspiration and education. So there I was. The person who went before me talked about how all Internet marketers are ‘employee phoebes’. This means they really prefer to not have to ‘deal with’ employees ever and like either outsourcing work to India (literally) or they might have one person in their office. I stood up revved up! I LOVE working with my team!! I love working with people! I love the interaction, the communication, the growth, and the family bond that occurs.

I told them, “Guys I LOVE working with my team. They ignite me, they challenge me, they keep me sharp!” I went on to tell how we’d had about 43 or so locations the last time I’d met with them and now we had 150+ different businesses or outlets distributing the Thin&Healthy program. This seemed to wow them. Remember, Internet is what they know and love. The fixed location world (where a business has an actual address that people come to) is something they aren’t familiar with. So, I told them, “We are really good at the fixed location business. We’ve grown; we know how to do it. You guys are awesome at Internet marketing. I’m so in awe of you guys. You are great at this thing that is frustrating me. I can’t seem to get it. We want to spread our message to the world via the Internet and impact millions more lives and I’m just not good at that yet.”

At this point one of my group members said, “Donna, you’re blocking your success. You’re preventing it from coming to you. You’re keeping people from wanting to work with you. You keep using words like ‘I’m so frustrated, I’m not getting it, we’re not good at it. Your belief, which is clearly reflected in your words, is keeping success away. It’s the basic Law of Attraction.” We discussed this briefly and I then went on with my presentation.

Remember I told you that one of the key factors in getting something out of a Master Mind Group is to receive whatever is said. I’m happy to report that I’m good at that. I thank them for their feedback (and I truly mean it- I’m not just saying it), I listen and I consider the truth in what’s being said. So I sat in my chair for the next many minutes thinking about what she’d said.

You know what? She was right. She was sooooo right! I hope you don’t read that as me being excited about this fact. I’m not, I’m sad. I am, however, excited about realizing it and deciding what to do about it. I’m sad because I am the ‘ORIGINAL BELIEVE LADY!’ Believe is the word I always used, I taught it, I practiced it, I LIVED IT!!!! I wasn’t just the one SAYING anyone could become anything they wanted to— I was the one adamantly BELIEVING it!!! You couldn’t convince me otherwise. I had lived the American Dream and my anointing, appointing and talents were in the arena of inspiring others to do the same. It’s how we grew this company. The last three and particularly two years of my life have contained challenges and circumstances quite different from what I’d seen in my previous years. It was during this time that my belief had shifted. I looked back over this time and asked myself what had happened. The answer came back so, so clear. I had allowed input into my mind that I KNEW was that of unbelief. Because I loved the person putting the, “It will NEVER work.” thoughts into my mind, I had bought into the deceiving idea that I could change this person and their belief. WRONG!!!!!! Instead I allowed multiple conversations of, “This will never work, people will never do that, no one can do this, you can’t do that…” to constantly continue.

The thing that motivates me personally is the idea of helping someone else in the world do what I’ve done; go from rags to riches if you will. At one point in time I allowed the input, “No one can do that DONNA!!! No one can do what you’ve done!!!” I realize now it was at that point in time that I began believing I was a fraud. How could I speak and tell people they could do this if it wasn’t true? How could I grow my company if there was no hope of people succeeding? I WAS BUYING INTO THE LIE!!! From there on out every conversation containing, “this can’t be done’ pulled me down deeper. Until one day in Bethesda, Maryland I proclaimed to a group of my peers that I couldn’t do it. OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had succumbed to the lie and was now professing it as truth!!

I am happy to report to you that I KNOW this isn’t who I am. I AM the believer; I do KNOW people can know the same success I’ve known… And then some! I do know that’s exactly what helped us grow a company of motivated, inspired individuals! And I’m truly happy to tell you the lie of unbelief won’t be crossing my mind and surly my lips again!

So, my belief is intact. How’s yours? I will now be ATTRACTING success— as I always have. I will not be repelling accomplishment! If you catch yourself thinking thoughts or saying words like, “I’ll never lose weight,” you need to take ownership right now that you’re blocking your success and keeping ideal body and health from happening. If you’re claiming words like, “I’ll always be this size. I’ve tried everything out there and nothing works. I’m just too busy to work on myself” or, “I’ll never be one of those fit and healthy people,” these words reflect your belief and they absolutely, positively, no maybes will become a self-fulfilling prophecy!

We’re either attracting our desires and seeing them become reality or we’re simply keeping them away. What kind of belief are you demonstrating? Please realize today, it’s something this simple that is determining where you are in life.
